Catholic Charities USA serves as the national voice for the Catholic Charities network and the people it helps by vigorously advocating federal policymakers on the poverty reduction agenda, promoting the work of local Catholic Charities and federal legislative agenda to the media and the general public.

Founded in 1910, Catholic Charities USA provides strong leadership and support to enhance the work of the local agencies in their efforts to reduce poverty, support families, and empower communities. The mission of Catholic Charities USA is to exercise leadership in assisting its membership, particularly the diocesan Catholic Charities agencies and supporting group members, in their mission of service, advocacy and convening.
